Book a photographer in Kansas City
One conversation books the whole shoot. Tell us what you're photographing, and we handle the matching, the scheduling, and the pricing — confirmed in writing before you commit to anything.
The fastest way to book: call or text
Have these five details ready and the whole exchange takes about two minutes:
- Session type — wedding, family, senior, headshots, real estate, or anything from the sessions list.
- Date and time of day — plus a backup date if you have one.
- Location — a park, your home or office, a venue, or "recommend one."
- Headcount — how many people (or square feet, for property shoots).
- What the photos are for — wall prints, a listing, LinkedIn, a campaign. It changes how we shoot.
Prefer writing it out? Send the same five details through our contact page and we'll reply with your match and quote.
What happens after you reach out
We confirm which specialist fits your session and check their calendar against your date. If your first choice of time is gone, you get the nearest real alternatives — not a waitlist.
You receive the photographer match and a flat price in writing, informed by the tiers on the packages page. Questions about locations, outfits, or timing get answered now, not on shoot day.
Your photographer arrives prepared — shot list understood, location scouted, light planned. You show up; the direction is their job. Edited galleries deliver digitally on the timeline stated in your quote.
Booking questions, answered
How does booking through an agency work?
You tell us the session type, date, location, and headcount. We match you with a Kansas City photographer who specializes in that exact genre, confirm their availability, and send you a flat price in writing. Nothing is booked until you approve both the photographer and the number.
How much does a photography session cost?
Pricing depends on session length, specialty, and deliverables, so every quote is confirmed individually before you commit. Mini sessions are the budget entry point, standard sessions cover most portrait and family needs, and weddings and commercial projects are scoped line by line. The packages page explains what drives each tier.
How quickly will I get my photos?
Real estate shoots typically deliver within about 24 hours. Portrait, family, senior, and headshot galleries usually arrive within days of the session. Weddings and large commercial projects take longer because of edit volume, and your quote states the exact delivery window.
What happens if it rains on my outdoor session?
Weather calls are made with you in advance, not on the curb. Outdoor sessions reschedule at no charge for weather, or move into a studio if you'd rather keep the date. Kansas City weather is part of the job; the plan accounts for it.
Do you photograph on both sides of the state line?
Yes. Our photographers cover the full metro — Kansas City proper, Overland Park, Lee's Summit, Olathe, Independence, Shawnee, Lenexa, Liberty, and the surrounding suburbs on both the Missouri and Kansas sides.
