Photography services in Kansas City

Every photography service we book across the Kansas City metro, staffed by specialists rather than generalists. Choose a session below to see what's included, how to prepare, and when to book — or skip straight to the booking page if you already know what you need.

How to choose the right session type

Milestones and family. Growing families usually move through a natural sequence: maternity photography in the third trimester, a newborn session in the first two weeks, then annual family photos as kids grow. High schoolers get their own moment with senior photos, typically shot the summer before senior year.

Personal branding. If the photo is about you rather than an occasion, you're looking at professional headshots for LinkedIn and company sites, broader portrait photography for creative or editorial looks, fitness photography for athletes and coaches, or boudoir photography for something intimate and empowering.

Business and property. Companies book commercial photography for products, teams, food, and events, while agents and investors rely on real estate photography — including drone aerials — to move listings faster.

Just for fun. Costumed old time photography turns a group outing into a keepsake, and controlled studio sessions suit anyone who wants classic backdrops and precise lighting. Wherever you are in the metro — including Overland Park — the shoot comes to you.

Still torn between two options? Call or text (913) 379-2309 and describe the end use of the photos — we'll recommend the session and the photographer, with pricing context from the packages page before you commit.

Booking lead times, by session type

Different genres run on different clocks. Real estate and headshot work can usually be scheduled within days. Family, portrait, maternity, and fitness sessions book comfortably two to three weeks out — more in October. Senior photos need several weeks of lead in summer. Newborn sessions are reserved during pregnancy against a due-date window rather than a fixed date. Weddings book months ahead, with peak-season Saturdays going first. None of this should stop a last-minute inquiry — calendars shift constantly, and the desk will always tell you honestly what's possible for your date rather than squeezing a mismatched photographer into it.

Don't see your session? Ask anyway

This directory covers what we staff continuously, not the outer limit of what the roster can shoot. Proposals, quinceañeras, graduation parties, pet portraits, church directories, band promo, product drops — if it can be photographed in the Kansas City metro, the desk has almost certainly matched it before. One call or text with a sentence of description gets you a straight answer on whether we have the right specialist, and an honest referral if we genuinely don't.
