Quick answers before you reach out

A few things people usually call to ask, answered here to save you the dial. Yes, we cover both sides of the state line — the office is in downtown Lee's Summit, but sessions run everywhere from Liberty to Olathe, and travel within the metro is built into quotes rather than added on. Yes, evenings and weekends are when most sessions happen, so inquiries at those hours are completely normal. No, calling to ask questions doesn't obligate you to book — a real percentage of our calls end with us recommending a smaller session than the caller expected to need, and that's the desk working as intended.

Finding the office

Parking, hours, and drop-in etiquette in one paragraph. The studio address sits in downtown Lee's Summit's historic district, just off SW Market Street — the map above drops you at the door. Street parking on Market and the surrounding blocks is straightforward outside of downtown event weekends. Note that the office runs by appointment: most of our business happens on location or by phone, so if you're planning to stop by rather than call, send a text first at (913) 379-2309 and we'll make sure someone's there to meet you.

Coming from the Kansas side, downtown Lee's Summit is a straight run east on US-50 from the I-435 loop — usually 25 to 35 minutes from Overland Park outside rush hour. From the Northland, I-470 south delivers you to the Market Street exits. If a studio visit is part of a session (newborn consultations, headshot wardrobe reviews), the desk will fold the appointment into your booking confirmation so the timing is already handled when you arrive.

What to include in a text

If you're texting, a single message with session type, rough date, location idea, and headcount gets you a complete answer on the first reply instead of a volley of follow-up questions. Something like: 'Family of five, fall photos, thinking Loose Park, flexible on weekends in October' is genuinely all the desk needs to come back with a photographer match and a number. Inquiries are answered same day, usually within hours — evenings and weekends included, since that's when most people finally have a minute to plan these things.
